Day 1 – To Kathmandu
Fly overnight from London to Kathmandu, via Delhi.
Day 2 – Kathmandu
Afternoon arrival and transfer to the Soaltee Crown Plaza for 2 nights.
Day 3 – Kathmandu
Morning tour of Kathmandu. Afternoon at leisure or optional visit to the medieval city of Bhaktapur.
Day 4 – To Monjo
Early morning flight to Lukla, gateway to the Everest region. Trek to Monjo (2,800 metres) and stay overnight at Everest Summit Lodge, Monjo. Walking time is approximately five-and-a-half hours.
Day 5 – To Mende
Enter the Sagarmatha National Park, taking a steep path to Namche Bazaar (3,445 metres), the trading centre of the Sherpa region. Continue to Mende. Stay overnight at the Everest Summit Lodge. Walking time is approximately six-and-a-half hours.
Day 6 – To Tashinga
Trek via Khumjung village, location of the Sir Edmund Hillary school, to Tashinga (3,540 metres) and stay at Everest Summit Lodge for 2 nights. Walking time is approximately five-and-a-half hours.
Day 7 – Tashinga
Full-day trek to Thyangboche monastery (3,870 metres) with a magnificent view of the Himalaya, including Everest. Walking time is approximately five-and-a-half hours.
Day 8 – To Monjo
Trek back to Monjo via Namche Bazaar. Stay overnight at Everest Summit Lodge, Monjo. Walking time is around five hours.
Day 9 – To Lukla
Continue from Monjo to Lukla. Stay overnight at Everest Summit Lodge. Walking time is around five hours.
Day 10 – To Kathmandu
Morning flight to Kathmandu. Stay 2 nights at the Soaltee Crowne Plaza. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 11 – Kathmandu
Day at leisure.

Fly to London, via Delhi.

The Sanctuary Lodge, Birethanti
The Sanctuary Lodge is situated on a promontory overlooking the Modi River at an altitude of 1,100 metres (3,600 ft). It is 30 minutes easy walking from the scenic village of Birethanti which straddles the ancient trading route to and from Tibet. The lodge has 800 metres (2,625 ft) of river frontage and dramatic views of the magnificent sacred and unclimbed 6,995 metre (23,000 ft) Fishtail Mountain, or Machhapuchhare. The lodge has been hand built by local craftsmen to traditional Nepalese design. Accommodation consists of 10 spacious, comfortably furnished twin bedrooms, each with private en suite bathroom.
The Basanta Lodge, Dhampus
The Basanta Lodge is situated on a ridge line at an altitude of 1,500 metres (4,920 ft). South of the lodge is the Phedi valley on the route to Pokhara and to the north is the magnificent Mardi valley. The lodge is centred in an old Gurung village house which now provides the dining room and reception areas. Guest accommodation consists of 8 spacious double bedrooms overlooking the Mardi valley.

Gurung Lodge is the newest of the Ker & Downey trekking lodges and is built along the lines of a traditional Nepalese village. There are 10 houses each with 2 bedrooms and a central restaurant/bar with a large open fire. Each room is en-suite. Every room has spectacular views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.
