Arguably the world’s most famous hotel, the ‘Raffles’ name conjures up charming images of rattan armchairs and white linen suits, maybe even Somerset Maugham penning witty letters back home. It’s been at the centre of the city’s life since 1887 and the national landmark status it enjoys today ensures that its elegant porticos, marble floors and moulded ceilings cannot be touched.

The Palm Court Suites border one side of the hotel’s main building. Simplicity and serenity is in abundance in the Palm Court, with ample walkways of crushed pebbles and rows of tall palm trees lining the sides of the garden. The Palm Court's large expanse of greenery sets the mood for all of the hotel’s facilities and it is exclusively for the use of hotel guests.
