    Day 1 - London

    Venice Simplon-Orient-Express Meet at London Victoria station and set off on the vintage carriages of the British Pullman. A welcoming Bellini and a delicious brunch establish the tone for this glamorous journey.

    On arrival in France you'll be greeted by the gleaming navy and gold carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Settle into your private cabin, richly adorned with wood panelling, and prepare for the evening. Dinner is served in one of the historic dining cars and is truly an occasion to savour.

    Day 2 - Venice

    After a continental breakfast in your cabin, sit back and enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery. You'll be served a decadent lunch as the train enters Italy. Pass through quilted vineyards and painterly villages before arriving in Venice.

    Settle in at your hotel - you'll be able to choose from a luxurious range including the fabulous Hotel Cipriani by Orient-Express.

    Day 3 - Venice

    This morning, you may like to join an exclusive walking tour of "Hidden Venice" where you can discover the secret gems of the City of Water. (supplement applies)

    Day 4 Venice

    Bid farewell to the romantic city and transfer to the airport for your onward arrangements. Or alternatively if you speak with one of our travel experts we can extend your stay in Venice for however long you wish, you could even continue your rail journey down through Italy its entirely up to you.

    From the 1920s to the ‘30s the carriages of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express played a significant role in the golden age of travel. Today, every carriage has been lovingly restored to its former glory, recreating one of the finest luxury experiences the world has ever known.

    Luxury Double Cabins are available for guests looking to travel in vintage style, the versatile cabins offer a lounge during the day; configured with a banquette sofa and a small table. At night the cabin transforms into a cosy bedroom with an upper and lower bed. The cabin also features a washbasin a footstool to accommodate travellers.

    Luxurious Cabin Suites offer more discerning guests two interconnecting cabins. You can choose between single beds or keep one cabin as a lounge, with upper and lower beds in the other. A beautiful mosaic-tiled lavatory is located in each carriage.

    Which ever cabin you chose to travel in you will be travelling in luxury and comfort all the way to Venice just as travellers of old did.

    Enjoy the unique ambience of each of the three beautifully restored 1920s restaurant cars. Côte d’Azur, boasting Lalique glass panels, Etoile du Nord with its beautiful marquetry, and L' Oriental, decorated in black lacquer.

    At the heart of the train, lies the stylish Bar Car offering a welcoming environment in which to relax over cocktails or coffee. Chat to fellow guests or enjoy music by the resident pianist on the baby grand.

    Exceptional European cuisine is freshly prepared in the train’s kitchen by Chef Christian Bodiguel and his skilled team. Fresh ingredients are taken on board at stops along the route. Look out the window and you may spot the chef inspecting lobsters from Brittany, tomatoes from Provence or saltmarsh lamb from Mont St Michel.
